How do you use and cite the data?
- Pick a dataset. Each page answers its question first, then shows a chart and the full table. The figures are the exam bodies’ own aggregate results for all candidates.
- Check the original. Every row names where its values were read and links to the exam body’s page. Until we have compared a value with that page, the row says “check the official website”.
- Download the CSV. Each dataset is a CSV file with the same rows as the table: numbers without % signs, empty cells where we give no figure, and the source of every row.
- Cite the source. Name the exam body as the original publisher and link to the dataset page. Each page has a ready-made reference and a short credit line for charts.
What we publish – and what we never publish
Only aggregate figures that the exam bodies publish for all their candidates, each with its source and the date we read it; where we take a figure from a secondary source, the row says so. We never publish pass rates, scores or numbers of our own users, and no surveys of them.
