SQE1 – Solicitors Qualifying Examination Part 1
England and Wales: 4,200 single best answer questions across FLK1, FLK2 and Ethics and Professional Conduct, with explanations, sources, mock exams and progress per subject.
Exam preparation, step by step
High Performer Certs builds focused question-bank apps for expensive, one-off professional exams: exam-style questions, explanations that cite their sources, and daily practice that adapts to what you are about to forget. One payment, twelve months of access. We start with SQE1.
What we do
High Performer Certs is an independent study platform for people preparing for a single, high-stakes certification exam. Instead of a long course, you get one app per exam that does three things well.
You learn by answering. For SQE1 that means single best answer questions: a short client scenario and five options, one of which is best.
Every answer explains the rule, why it exists and why each option is right or wrong – and names its source: the statute, the case or the regulator’s rule. The law is stated with a date (currently 21 October 2026). Spotted a problem? Report it from any question.
Spaced repetition brings each topic back shortly before you would forget it, and your mistakes return until you get them right.
Method
Four steps, repeated in short daily sessions until you are ready for the exam.
Start every topic with an exam-style question. Retrieving an answer strengthens memory more than re-reading notes.
Read the rule, the reasoning and the source. Each wrong option is explained, so you learn the traps too.
The FSRS scheduler plans your reviews. Mistakes go into an error log and come back until they are fixed.
Timed mock exams follow the SRA’s published blueprint and pace. Progress is tracked for every subject.
