What is in the test?
A fixed selection of 20 questions, the same for everyone, spread like the real papers. FLK1 and FLK2 carry the same weight, and Ethics runs through both. Every question names the statute, case or SRA rule behind its answer.

Is the SQE1 quick test free?
Yes. The quick test is free and needs no account and no email address. You can take it as often as you like.
How long does the quick test take?
About 36 minutes at exam pace, which is roughly 108 seconds a question. In SQE1 each session has 85 questions in 2 hours 33 minutes. There is no timer, so you can also take it at your own pace.
Which subjects does the quick test cover?
All 14 subjects of the course: 9 from FLK1, 9 from FLK2 and 2 on Ethics and Professional Conduct. The questions are spread in line with the SRA’s weighting of the subjects in each paper, and the result shows each subject and topic separately.
Are these real SQE1 questions?
They are questions from this course’s question bank, in the single best answer format of the exam: a short scenario, five options, one best answer. They are not SRA sample questions.
Does my score predict my SQE1 result?
No. 20 questions are a snapshot that shows which subjects and topics hold up and which need work. They are not a forecast of an SQE1 result.
What happens to my answers?
Your answers stay in your browser tab and are deleted when you close it; they are never sent to us. Our cookie-free visit statistics only count that a test was started and completed, with the score (privacy policy, section 4).
